why again exists
It got harder to see the same people twice.
We kept noticing a strange thing: there were people everywhere, but fewer and fewer ordinary reasons to be around the same ones again.

People everywhere. Very little repetition.
School used to put familiar faces in the same room without asking us to organise it. Then school ended. Work became more remote, friends moved, and plans started dying quietly in group chats.
We were not looking for more profiles to browse or more strangers to collect. We wanted a low-pressure reason to see a few people at the same time next week.

Three projects, one stubborn idea.
With Pebble, we cared about thoughtful, warm introductions instead of cold outreach. With LFG, we cared about turning online intent into something friends actually do together.
Again comes from the same place: software should help people get into the room, then get out of the way.

Why four weeks?
One meeting is an introduction. Repetition is how a face becomes familiar and how people get a fair chance to stop performing. Four weeks is long enough to make that possible and short enough to make an honest commitment.
There is no promise that six strangers become best friends. The promise is smaller: the first meeting will not have to carry the whole weight of the relationship.

I wanted this for myself.
The first question behind Again was personal: I could live in a crowded city, go to cafés and events, and still not build a life with the people around me. Knowing that I should go out was not the same as having a reason to see anyone again.
University had created repetition for me without calling it a feature. After it ended, every meeting needed an invitation, a plan, and someone willing to risk asking again. I wanted a small structure that did that piece of work without turning friendship into a marketplace or a profile.
Right now, no one is being paid to work on Again. There is no growth team or grand claim that we can cure loneliness. We are trying to make one useful part easier: meeting the same people again.
